ALTERNATE BEACH ACCESS FAST FACTS

Visiting Lovers Key:

If you wish to go to Lovers Key, the easiest way is to simply hop on a shuttle bus at one of the stops within Bonita Bay. You MUST present your beach card. You do not need to pay the $8 entrance fee to the park-it is covered when you arrive by shuttle bus. If you arrive in your personal vehicle, you will have to pay the $8 entrance fee.Shuttle buses continue to drop off and pick up throughout the day up until 4:30 p.m. Last shuttle bus pick up from Lovers Key is 4:30 p.m. BBCA hours of operation at Lovers Key are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.A map of Lovers Key is available here.

Visiting Doc's Beach House:

Hop on a shuttle bus and present your beach card.On the return trip from Lovers Key, the bus will drop you off at Access Point 1 on Bonita Beach Road next to Doc's.No BBCA staff attendants at Doc's. No complimentary chair service is available at Doc's, however, chairs can be rented for a fee from the private on-site beach vendor.Shuttle buses continue to run throughout the day up until a half hour after sunset. The last shuttle bus pick up back to Bonita Bay is promptly a half hour after sunset from Access Point 1 at Doc's.
